Troy Guillory was born on May 28, 1969 in Opelousas, Louisiana.
He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in December of 1992
with a bachelors degree in Industrial Technology. As a kid, he always had an
interest in art. As he became older, he continued to draw and compete in
contests at his local high school. In 1999, he participated, with a
collaboration of other emerging visual artists, poets, writers and actors; in a
project called "Drink to This" at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. This
was sponsored by Meta Arts, Inc. and the Ensworth Charitable Foundation. He said
"in 1989 is when my life changed. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior
and started to seek his will and purpose for my life. From there, is when He
began to give me inspired thoughts and revelation of His divine nature. God said
in the book of Joel 2:28 that "I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams,
your young men shall see visions' I believe that God has given me a prophetic
art ministry because of the symbolism that is portrays. Being a self taught
artist has allowed me to become more dependant on the creative gift of God's
anointing than my own personal strength." To God be all the glory.
